Tonica 2 for Kvadrat

 

Tonica 2 for Kvadrat piled up on the studio desk 39 colours including 24 new ones, including a light tone area introduced in this collection. The colours are inspired by natural landscapes. The intensity of colour varies according to the amount of black and white in the base cloth , so we have some deep dark nearly black colours and very light shades where the colour is a gentle tint like in a hand coloured print.

Skye for Kvadrat at SCP and Tala

Skye has grown up and becomes a product. The first time I have seen it upholstered today at the London Design Festival shown by SCP and Tala lighting Under the Arches.

Skye for Kvadrat

Skye a new woollen upholstery designed for Kvadrat launched this week at London Design Festival in 35 colours inspired by wild places and the uniqueness of our British Islands , both natural and unusual colour combinations taken from being where sky , land and water meet and from details of natural forms found while exploring.

Ghent graffiti

In Ghent there is an alley where graffiti is allowed it was inspiring in it's fresh variety of colour and contrast against the historic buildings a great place to visit.

Frosty landscapes

The frost has brought some wonderful muted colours and highlights, a changed landscape to explore which I did with my painter friend Petrina Kent from the Isle of Man. A change from cliff walks there is little frost on the island.

Amazing Autumn

The colour has been spectacular this year unbelievable and wonderful. So much to be inspired by unusual combinations and great intensity of colour .
